When I decided to take piano lessons as an adult, I had no idea what to expect. I knew I wanted to learn to sight read, be more capable with church music, and just be more comfortable about music in general.
I started lessons in person just before the pandemic set in for real so we had just a few lessons before we transitioned to video chat lessons. The video chat format hasn't had any real detriment on the lesson delivery, nor do I feel it has limited our interaction as she keeps me on track and moving.

Five months in I am definitely able to sight read more and my comfort level is increasing and I'm slowly starting to be able to incorporate more things on the page. When I sit down for a lesson feeling less than brilliant, I usually get up at the end feeling optimistic about my progress.

I really like this music teacher. Very flexible and professional. The lessons is not only playing music but also theory. My son takes Piano and Voice and he's in sixth grade. My other kids take lessons from her husband, which is absolutely amazing, Very patience with younger ones and encouraging. I would definitely recommend.

When my 9-year-old came to me and wanted to sing in the school talent show I knew just who I wanted to help prepare her! MaryAnne gave Lauren voice lessons which began a beautiful musical journey and mentorship. Three years later Lauren has learned to play the guitar, has a great understanding of music theory and developed her voice to the point that she recently landed a main part in our community theater production of Newsies! We are truly grateful that MaryAnne shared her love of music with Lauren!
